Sagar Shah— Chairman, Evol Group.

Sagar Shah was born in Vadodara, Gujarat, and trained as a software engineer in the era of the first Microsoft and Cisco certifications. By his early twenties he was already running the small migration practice that would become Migrate Zone — founded in 1998 with a single conviction, that the right counsel could change the trajectory of an entire family.

Twenty-eight years and more than three thousand approved visas later, Migrate Zone is one of the longest-standing registered migration practices in the country, operating from Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Sydney and Melbourne. It is the one company in the group that has never raised external capital and has never been for sale.

Around it, Sagar built an operating group designed to make tools that were once reserved for the privileged few accessible to ordinary operators. Evol Technobits Digital (2016) ships AI-engineered software for more than five hundred clients globally. Evol Trader brings institutional-grade automated trading to retail and family-office investors. The group also runs Evol Jobs (specialist recruitment) and Evol Assistant (remote operations), with two supporting Web3 ventures (Evol Network and Marketrill) and a cultural-events arm (Evol Entertainment) co-founded with Sonal Shah.

Two further ventures sit in active development. TrueValue — a privacy-first enterprise operating system replacing the fragmented SaaS stack with CRM, payroll, accounting, tasks and marketing under one roof — is currently being built, with selective early-access engagements opening through 2027. Evol Estate — a Mediterranean property advisory desk for Indian and Middle Eastern buyers — is in pre-launch with on-ground partners. Both will be released by introduction first; general availability follows once the core early-access cohort has had time to test, break and shape them.

Today, Sagar spends most of his time on a smaller, more deliberate question: how owner-led businesses, family-led companies, HNI professionals and family offices can adopt artificial intelligence and operational automation safely — without compromising data, governance or staff trust. He takes a small number of advisory engagements each year, each beginning with a confidential 45-minute briefing that comes with a written, non-negotiable promise: no product is pitched in the first session.

He holds membership of the Australian Computer Society, multiple Microsoft and Cisco certifications across systems engineering and networking, and more recent credentials in cyber security, blockchain development and Ethereum smart-contract architecture. He has been active in cross-border business since 1998, lives between Sydney, Vadodara and Dubai, and is rarely quoted in the press by choice.
